Smile it could be worse
Is the message on my sign.
I’m homeless with Coronavirus
What a lovely time.
For us this virus sucks
How do we quarantine.
Our home is on the streets
No room for distancing.
People call us the dirty ones
Who have no place to go.
Most don’t wear a mask
They just don’t care or even know.
This virus is killing us
More than this fucked up life
Targeting the weak
With accuracy sharper than a knife.
Why does Coronavirus
Prefer to kill the poor
People of color and the homeless
Attacking them more?
Whatever, to me this all seems too funny.
You can keep the mask
I just need some money.
